The Two Fatalities Revealed in the Providence Campus Incident as Police Press On With Search for Perpetrator.

Both young individuals who died in the recent mass shooting on the university campus were honored at the start of the week – while an intensive search for their assailant persisted following the freeing by local law enforcement of the only individual questioned in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

The student Ella Cook, a second-year scholar from Alabama, was described as “an incredible, grounded, faithful, bright light”, according to the Birmingham's Cathedral Church of the Advent, which paid tribute to her at a service on Sunday.

Umurzokov’s identity was confirmed by the foreign office of Uzbekistan.

Nine other people were hurt in the violent event in the engineering building of Brown’s university in Providence, during the institution's end-of-term tests.

Officials stated by the end of Sunday that a man aged 24 detained in a raid at a Hampton Inn about around 27 kilometers from the university earlier in the day was released from custody.

“There is a killer at large,” said Rhode Island’s attorney general, Peter Neronha.
